Summer Gathering Santa Fe, NM Friday, July 16th, at 7:30 pm Sunday, July 18th, 2 pm Bringing Beauty and Harmony to Our Land and Space Through the Sacred Art of Geomancy.

This workshop provides an introduction to the most important skills, knowledge and requirements of a Western geomancer. It will include breathing exercises and an exploration of will, time and visualisation as well as practises to help refine the senses. We will look into the interdependence between sound, pattern, form, proportion and atmosphere in a space. A walk in the surroundings will give us the opportunity to make exercises and conscious use of our senses and to learn more about space and time.

Ruth Linauer: Geomancer and Astrologer, Vienna, Austria

Ruth has been studying and working for 19 years with her spiritual teacher and geomancer, Reshad Feild, incorporating many of his practises and ideas into her work. She has been trained in Western Geomancy for 6 years.

The Sema is a ceremony commemorating the day that Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi reached union with the Divine on December 17, 1273. The Santa Fe group hosts a study class every Thursday evening from 7-9 pm.  Study texts include works by Reshad Feild, Ibn al A'rabi, and Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, as well as other Sufi mystics.  The evening includes poetry, practices and zikr and is called "Towards Knowing Ourselves."  Please contact Penny at 505 466-3137 if you wish to attend.
